The program is the standard confined space course and is delivered over a period of three eight-hour contact days.
Four units of competency organised into an off-the-job training program comprising 9 sessions in total.
The classroom & fieldwork under supervision of a trainer/assessor covers Risk Assessment, Legislation, Permits, Equipment, Gas Detection, Breathing Apparatus, Emergency Response and CPR and a short Fire Extinguisher module.
The program involves a practical skills development module in a simulated or real confined space.
Assessment is both practical and a theory test. Certification includes Separate Nationally Recognised Confined Space, SCBA and Gas Test Statement of Attainment and a plastic wallet card upon successful completion of the course.

Eligibility for this reassessment program involves a recognition of prior learning (RPL) application based on evidence of having completed an appropriate Nationally Recognised confined space competency within the previous three years. This program is delivered over a period of 8 contact hours and involves a review of the theory involved in Confined Space entry using the Learning Guide, Safe Work in Confined Spaces, provided. Assessment is both practical and a theory test.
Certification includes a Nationally Recognised Confined Space Statement of Attainment and a plastic wallet card upon successful completion of the course.
This course is based on material from Australian Standards 1891 (Industrial Fall Arrest Systems), AS 2626 (Industrial Safety Belts and Harness Selection, use and maintenance), AS 4626 (Industrial Fall Arrest Device selection, use and maintenance) and the Code of Practice – Safe Working from Roofs
The above standards are to be used as guides in implementing a safe working at heights program.
Certification includes a Nationally Recognised Safe Work at Heights Statement of Attainment and a plastic wallet card upon successful completion of the course.

· Cleaning and maintenance
Practical training in the use of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus and/or Airline Breathing Equipment is a core activity of our training course.
Certification includes a Nationally Recognised Operate Breathing Apparatus Statement of Attainment and a plastic wallet card upon successful completion of the course.
This course covers:
· Atmospheric hazards
· Hazards associated with toxic gases,
combustible gases and oxygen
· Criteria used to assess hazards and gas levels
· Use and care of gas detection equipment
Specific gas detection use looks at:
· Basic operation of equipment
· Activation (on/off)
· Zeroing and spanning
· Calibration

Certification includes a Nationally Recognised Gas Test Atmospheres Statement of Attainment and a plastic wallet card upon successful completion of the course.
To equip participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical application to competently administer emergency first aid, as well treatment of other illnesses and injuries. Senior First Aid has both practical and theoretical elements, where participants demonstrate procedures of techniques used and exhibit the necessary knowledge on administering first aid.
