The program is the full  confined space course and is delivered over a period of three eight-hour contact days. Three units of competency organised into an off-the-job training program comprising 9 sessions in total.

The classroom & fieldwork under supervision of a trainer/assessor covers Risk Assessment, Legislation, Permits, Equipment, Gas Detection (MSAPMOHS217A), Breathing Apparatus (MSAPMOHS216A), Emergency Response and a short review of  CPR and Fire Extinguishers in confined spaces.

The program involves a practical skills development module in a simulated or real confined space.

Assessment is both practical and a theory tests. Certification includes Separate Nationally Recognised Confined Space, GD and SCBA Statements of Attainment and a plastic wallet card upon successful completion of the course. Competency either from Resource & Infrastructure - Competency RIIOHS202A or Water Industry. - Competency NWP219A(4 days)

Safe Work in Confined Space Duration: Three (3) days -$675 per person(No GST applicable)

The program is delivered over a period of two eight-hour contact days. One unit of competency organised into an off-the-job classroom training program.

The course include Risk Assessment, WHS legislation, Permits, Equipment (incl Gas Detection), Emergency Response, SCBA overview and more.

The program intruduces SCBA(Breathing Apparatus) and involves practical skills development module. Assessment is both practical and a theory test. For SCBA certification you must additionally attend a SCBA course.

Certification includes Nationally Recognised Confined Space Statement of Attainment and a plastic wallet card upon successful completion of the course. Competencies are from Resource & Infrastructure -Competency RIIOHS202A and Gas Detection (MSAPMOHS217A)

 

Safe Work in Confined Space - Duration: Two (2) days - $515 per person (No GST applicable)

Eligibility for attending this reassessment program involves proof/evidence of having completed an appropriate Nationally Recognised confined space competency- Failure to show such evidence shall delay issue of certification untill evidence is porovided.

This program is delivered over a period of 8 contact hours and involves a review of the theory involved in Confined Space entry using the Learning Guide and classroom session with an assessment which is both practical and a theory test.  

Certification includes a Nationally Recognised Confined Space Statement of Attainment and a plastic wallet card upon successful completion of the course. Competency either from Resource & Infrastructure or Water Industry.

For SCBA  and/or Gas Test Atmosphere re certification you must additionally attend a 4hr SCBA and/or GD course (See Operate Breathing Apparatus course and Gas Test Atmosphere ) course)below.

This course is facilitated simultaneously and as the theory review section of our regular reassessment course 8am - 1pm training module.

Confined Space Awareness - Duration: 5hrs - $125 per person (No GST) This course is based on recommendations as per AS 2865:2009 -Appendix B and relate to persons involved in design, modification, installation or who may be participating in risk assessment of confined spaces and or managing/supporting confined space workers.

This course is not meant for persons who control confined space hazards, enter confined spaces, act as standby or participate in emergency response. Additional training is required for these persons (see options above)

This program is delivered over a period of 4 contact hours and involves the practical rehearsal of a rescue plan developed by the trainees for an on site or simulated confined space.

Confined Space Rescue  - Duration: 4hrs - $125 per person (No GST)

This course is based on requirements of QLD WHS Reg 2008 Part 18-250 e (clause 12.1) which states “Appropriate emergency response and first aid procedures and provisions shall be planned, established and rehearsed and recommendations covering exact same details in AS/NZS 2865:2001 and AS 2865:2009 confirming this requirement.

This course is meant for persons who enter confined spaces, act as standby or participate in emergency response to maintain their skills in between regular reassessment courses and/or where onsite confined space rescue plans are rehearsed to comply with regulations.
