National Training Standards Core Training Elements for The National Standard Safe Working in a Confined Space This document aims to give guidance on the information to be included in Confined Space Entry training and the duration for courses. Our training is based on recommendations as per this document.
Notional times are: 2 - 4 hours for those that need an overview and understanding of confined spaces. 5 days for those working in or on a confined space and that may be acting as a standby person.
